Time Table Template and Learner Attendance Template

Resource Description
As a former classroom teacher and now with running my own tutoring business I know that it is imperative to keep track of (a) what your day has in store and (b) make sure you have evidence that learners attend classes. Keeping record of attendance gave me the tools I needed when any questions came up whether from the Principal, the HOD or a Parent and or learners.
I make two copies of the timetable one for my Master Portfolio as I know when we went for cluster and or district moderation this was one of the items that needed to be present in your Master Portfolio and the other to put up in my classroom / office space. This Google Slide document is editable and has a five-day 7 period cycle.
I know that it can be thought of as excessive to do an attendance register for all your different groups, but I have done it and still do it to this day in my business as part of a report for my parents. I feel that as a Math/ Mathematical Literacy teacher especially it is worth doing. You don’t have to design it from scratch, tweak it if need be. As an experienced teacher I would recommend doing this everyday as part of your classroom routine. I can attest that it helped with class attendance, late coming and just the general discipline in my classroom.
The Google Sheets product can be printed every 15-day cycle as I have made provision for 7 groups with up to 50 learners and 15 days. You will also notice that I have color coded the different group to ensure differentiation.
