Resource Description
This document consists of 21 sheets with a different jumbled sentence on each sheet. There are 7 copies of the sentence on each sheets so it makes for easier photocopying.
The children absolutely love this activity, we do 2-3 sentences per week and its linked to our planning and phonics program as well as our sight word lists.
We discuss the words individually, build the sentence and discuss it as a whole class. We also read it together with a larger, printed version on the carpet.
They then have to cut up each word and for their sentence as well as illustrate it.
The sentences build on each other and get progressively more complex as the term goes on.
