RUGBY WORLD CUP WRITING ACTIVITY

Motivate your students before the writing activity begins – get them to scan the QR code and watch the rugby video clip that opens. This writing activity is a fun way to get your students to practice and improve their creative writing skills. There are choices of titles but also the suggestion for them to come up with their own title. Each paragraph is started for the students with the beginning of a sentence to prompt them and inspire ideas. The vocabulary page is to help them to consider various aspects of their visit to a rugby match and to assist with spelling. There are two lined pages for students who don’t want or don’t require the writing prompts.
