Task: Build Your Own Musical Instrument from Repurposed Materials

Build a musical instrument from recyclable materials and give a short display to the instrument used.

Instructions:

1. Choose an instrument:

• Think about what type of musical instrument you want to make (e.g. a drum, a guitar, a flute, etc.).

2. Collect Materials: Use only recyclable or discarded items that you can find at home. Here are some suggestions:

• Cans

• Plastic bottles

• Cardboard box

• Elastic bands

• Paper towel roll

• Rice or beans for noisemakers

• Old newspapers or magazines
