Lesson Objectives

By the end of this lesson, learners should be able to:

  1. Define and identify cost price and selling price.
  2. Use formulae to calculate cost price and selling price.
  3. Calculate percentage profit using the appropriate formula.
  4. Define and determine the break-even point.
  5. Identify and draw the income line and expenses line on a graph.
  6. Use the graph to determine if a business is making a profit or loss.
