Grade 5 History Term 2 Exam

This product can be used as a practice test, for revision exercises or extension activities. You can also use it for your Term 2 examination. It is in Word and PDF for ease of use. A memorandum with Blooms levels is included.

This paper consists of 50 marks and 10 questions. It covers content learnt in Term 1 and 2 History. Grade 5 only requires a paper to be out of 30 so you may remove some of the questions. Different textbooks cover some of the topics differently, hence leaving room to adjust your paper according to your needs and the content you covered in class.
There are a variety of questioning types. A lot of the questions are source-based. This paper covers the following topics (each one its own question number)

• The hunt and bow and arrow
– Section B: Early farmers in southern Africa
• Where, when and when early farmers settled

• Cattle were very important
• Tools and weapons from iron and copper
