Grade 2 English (Literacy) – Extended Activities / Task Cards

This pack includes 80 different extended activities for children in the classroom. It has been aimed at Grade 2 level.
Cards could also be used in Grade 3 – to help learners extend their knowledge.
This cards can be used for children to select a card and complete the card in a book or on a scrap piece of paper. Can be used for the faster learners in the class.
The cards include a variety of different concepts: writing, reading and grammar (punctuation, past tense, future tense), parts of speech.
Writing tasks include: write words that start with a particular letter, write sentences using the words provided, unscramble the following words, change sentences into the past tense, fill in the correct punctuation ect.
Reading Task: Read with understanding – read a story and draw a picture to match the story.
