Resource Description

This CAPS-aligned June 2024 controlled test utilises Barrett’s taxonomy of cognitive levels and it consists of 4 sections (comprehension, advert, summary and language in context). The comprehension is based on South Africa’s sprinting champion Akani Simbine. The advert in section B is a flyer about CVO Skool Brandwag Tarlton’s fun day. The summary requires learners to summarise a text about tips on how to spoil your mother on Mother’s Day.
