German modal verbs – overview

This resource contains the changes that occur in the modal verbs, according to person – singular and plural. These have been split into two, to allow for the best quality, but can easily be brought back together, as one.

There are colour coordinated example sentences, with these modal verbs – these indicate where the modal verbs are placed in a sentence and how to use them.

This resource can be used to teach modal verbs, as decoration in a classroom or as a revision sheet for students.
