How will they ever escape?

Discussing the following figures of speech:

• Similes
• Personification
• Proverbs &
• Idioms

Learners will then take part in a group activity – An escape room!

This fun activity does take some prep time for the teacher, but so worth it. Make learning memorable for the learners by hiding clues and watching them discover the answers in an educational way. This will also boost social skills and the instill the essence of teamwork within the child.

Learners figure out the answers to figures of speech-related questions, and gain secret letters which lead to the final secret code which will allow them to unlock the classroom door.
