ENG HL – GR 7 – 9 – TASK 8 (LITERATURE)

This resource is for grade 7 – 9. Task 8 according to the CAPS document.

Task breakdown:

• Section A Poetry (10 marks) – challenging poem with questions based on it.
• Section B Novel (10 marks) – based on the novel holes. The extract is not included. This section can be changed if you are not doing Holes with your learners.
• Section C Short Story (10 marks) – folklore given. learners need to answer questions based on the text
