These booklets are intended for Grade 1 students who are just beginning to learn about vowel sounds in Afrikaans. They are designed to support Grade 1 students in grasping the concept of vowel sounds and also introduce them to short, simple sentences to aid in identifying both images and words. The students are not only being introduced to new words but are also able to further develop their writing skills, not only in their English classes but also in their Afrikaans classes
