Funky Monkey Letter Formation

The “Funky Monkey” program was created by an occupational therapist to help children with the formation of letters that start at the 2 o’clock position.Formation of the Funky Monkey letters are supported by the “wave” writing pattern and aims to reduce letter reversals when writing. The “Funky Monkey” program includes a classroom poster, animated PowerPoint presentation, a short video explanation, graded worksheets and activities for use in the classroom, at home or during therapy. Guidelines for use are included. The program can be downloaded and worksheets may be copied for use in the classroom.
