Did you know that a whole bunch of connected bananas is called a hand? Well, I didn’t.
I never cared about mathematics too much because I didn’t consider that it might be useful in the world outside school.
The South African CAPS documents stress how important it is to be able to apply mathematical concepts to real world concepts.
