A few words about Speaking

Out of the four skills (Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing), speaking is the one skill learners need more when it comes to proving they have learnt a new language. This is because speaking is a productive skill. Learners do not simply receive information and try to process it; they are required to process information and knowledge they already possess in order to produce new language and communicate.

So, how do you get your students speaking?

Most textbooks contain structured activities that practice speaking based on the topics and content of each unit. However, it is good to deviate from the book into freer conversation. Students are always more motivated when the activity is more relevant to them. This ebook comes to fill this gap.
