This 13-page product delves into the uncertainty around spelling, saying and writing words ending ‘’-URE’’. These words belong to the -URE Word Family. The product defines this term, at the outset, in a clear and concise manner designed to facilitate recall.

Repetitive worksheet-style exercises include visual images to enhance understanding and retention. Each member of the Word Family is thoroughly explored: -URE, -TURE and -SURE

Students are encouraged to say the words out loud (‘’URE’’ as in p-URE ). The section on ‘rhyming’ will build phonemic awareness and help young learners develop language and literacy by paying attention to the ‘end sounds’ of words. Rhyming is also a lot of fun!
