Weather refers to daily environmental elements, such as temperature, wind speed and wind direction, cloud cover, rainfall and other forms of precipitation (such as snow, hail and frost). We measure temperature in degrees Celsius. We use a thermometer to measure temperature. We measure the amount of rainfall in millimeters. We use a rain gauge to measure the amount of rainfall. We name winds according to the direction that they are blowing from not the direction that they are blowing to.
