Easy-to-use spelling practice template

This resource is a practical, easy-to-use way of practising spelling. (The lists of words are based on The Essential Spelling List by Schonell.) The table on the worksheets is designed as follows: Each word should be read aloud; then reread and written down; then read a third time, covered up and written from memory. The words are then marked and, if any are incorrect, they should be rewritten.

A page with rectangles of the correct size for the learners to use to cover the ‘Read’ and ‘Copy’ columns before they attempt to write the words on their own

A page which is a template for you to use (with the current spelling words being covered in class)
