Christian Study for Primary School learners – Passover Gr1-5 (A simple text, puzzle and colour-in.)

This is a simple text with a crossword puzzle and a colour-in section. This resource aims to bring home to young learners the time of Passover and what it means in a nutshell, for young learners to have first glimpses into the journey that Christ undertook to carry the sins of the world. Children start to fidget when you explain something to them that is heavy in symbolism and from another time and place. It is no easy task drawing them in to bring them the Holy Gospel in a way that is truthful and pertinent to their lives today.
The worksheet is interactive and contains the context (a short paragraph) with graphics of Jesus, an ’empty tomb’ in the shape of an egg for them to colour in and also a crossword puzzle with everyday Christian terminology which children get to grips with to help them draw onto bigger concepts on the Christian journey.
