Wonderous Wolves
Loved the all in one package. Especially enjoyed the pictures added on idioms about wolves and the common stereotypes on wolves. The folktale, "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" is such an important lesson for our kids.

I will certainly look into creating a remedial plan for physical Education, however, it does depend on what kind of physical remediation a child needs (this would probably fall into an Occupational Therapist's domain). This task has been developed according to Term 1's content, and can be used for children who need routine and repetition to master movements and sequences (e.g. Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD etc). To assist you now, this is a broad overview of the CAPS topics for grade 4: Term 1 - Different ways to locomote, rotate, elevate and balance, using various parts of the body with control. Term 2 - A variety of modified invasion games (handball works well if child doesn't struggle with coordination and eyesight difficulties. Swingball might be an alternative.) Term 3 - Rhythmic movements with focus on posture. The task's movement can be adapted and sequenced together with music. Simply marching to a beat can work extremely well. Aerobics can tend to be difficult - but using a mirror will help a child see what their body is doing. Term 4 - Basic field and track athletics or swimming activities; and Safety measures. If you have access to a trampoline or therapy hammock, these can be used quite successfully.
