In Term 2, teachers have the option of what they would like to assess for a transactional writing assessment.

Often, the easiest one to go with is instructions.

Learners will need to write a set of instructions for any recipe of their choice (preferably simple!) and will need to be specific with their instructions.

Spelling and layout will count towards the mark – And the layout has been shown to the children within this worksheet, showing them exactly what to write, and where to skip lines.
