Roll a silly sentence

In the foundation phase, I know how challenging it is to get your learners to write sentences. Roll a silly sentence allows your learners to have fun while writing multiple sentences. Your learners can work in pairs or individually. Be prepared to have a classroom full of giggles and laughs. Print the resource back-to-back on colour paper to make it look ”less boring” and laminate it. Once the learners have written 5+ sentences ask them to read their favourite sentence out loud to the class. This resource can be used for grade 2 and grade 3.
