This notes focus on the following aspects of Patterns and Relationships:
• Relationships where there is a constant/fixed relationship between terms in the relationship
• Relationships where there is a constant difference between terms in the relationship.
• Relationships where there is an inverse proportion between the terms in the relationship.
• Relationships where there is a constant ratio between the terms in the pattern.
• Relationships where there is a combination of any two of the above relationships.
• Representing two relationships by using the following:

o Dependent and Independent variables
