Naturalscience Grade 4 Term 1 Task

This is a natural science task for grade 4 term 1.

This task explores the topic of living things where learners must germinate a plant seed.

Section A: The first section of this task covers the physical germination of the plant’s seed. Learners must bring their resources to school where the teacher will assist them in the simple steps to germinate the seeds.

Section B: The second section of this task requires students to record the germination process of the shed over seven days. In this section a table is provided where students need to draw the progression of the seed’s germination.

Section C: The final section of this task requires learners to use their knowledge to answer questions. The questions test learner’s knowledge on the anatomy of plants and other general knowledge of plants overall.
