Introduction to Sharing/Basic Division

This resource introduces sharing (basic division) in a very simple and practical way. There are worksheet exercises to practice sharing – there is an option of having division sums to complete or doing the same exercise without the sums.

There are A4 pages to be copied as aids for hands-on practice: items (sweets, cookies, etc.) to cut out and physically share,  plates on which to put the items and cards of children with whom to share.

There is also a page on which to write the sums during/after the practical sharing activity.
