English Home Language test – Term 1. This Grade 4 test includes a non-fiction comprehension, a visual text comprehension, as well as the language structures and conventions paper on an octopus theme. Memos are all complete and included in the resource. This resource is created around a theme of “The Octopus”. It can be used as test preparation or as a part of your day-to-day teaching of an information text (non-fiction text). The Language structures only test work that has been done in the first term of Grade 4 and is CAPS compliant.
