CVC word builder

Use this CVC word builder to help learners with vocabulary, recognising the cvc word, relating the word to the picture and learning to spell the cvc word. These can be used in groups or individually.

To use : Print the 5 cards with the colourful dots and the picture ( print as many sets as needed – DONT FORGET TO LAMINATE!!)

in small groups go through each picture and sound out the word in the group

Put the printed cards in the center , now each child, chooses a card, writes the sounds, to make the word , sounds it out for the teacher – use whiteboard markers

TIP : Use colourful pom pom as erasers when suing whiteboard markers ( I glue mine onto the lid of the whiteboard marker)
