These silent letters are useful in showing your learners where and in what familiar words they are used in. I created these for my class during teaching practice and it was a hit. The learners looked at it and were able to identify the silent letters and where in the words it was found. Putting it up on the wall allowed the learners to use them in sentences. This helps with building their vocabulary.
